《軌道交通行業(yè)英語》共8個(gè)單元，每單元主體內(nèi)容由聽說、閱讀、寫作和翻譯四大部分構(gòu)成，并輔以閱讀材料，幫助學(xué)生對所學(xué)知識進(jìn)行拓展學(xué)習(xí)。教學(xué)內(nèi)容圍繞兩篇主題相同的閱讀文章展開，按照行業(yè)涉及的典型職業(yè)崗位和主要工作內(nèi)容進(jìn)行教學(xué)情景設(shè)計(jì)，文章選材注重語言交際技能的實(shí)用性、通用性、時(shí)效性、典型性和可模擬性。
　　聽說部分的熱身練習(xí)設(shè)計(jì)，使學(xué)生易于理解課文內(nèi)容；寫作部分對常用應(yīng)用文格式進(jìn)行分析，使學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容接近職場要求；此外，因?yàn)樾袠I(yè)英語部分內(nèi)容屬于科技英語范疇，特在編寫過程中加人翻譯技巧部分，使學(xué)生具備未來職場閱讀和翻譯資料的基本技能。
　　學(xué)習(xí)的目的在于應(yīng)用，《軌道交通行業(yè)英語》提供了每個(gè)模塊的對應(yīng)練習(xí)，使學(xué)生能夠通過訓(xùn)練掌握和鞏固解決實(shí)際問題的技能和方法。
