Susan has 22 years of experience teaching a variety of grade levels and also trains teachers with Marcia Freeman's CraftPlus? School-Wide Writing Program and Staff Development Resource (available through Maupin House). She is the 2005 recipient of the Mary Brogan Award for Excellence in Literacy Education.
