The park is full of strange shadows and things that look like eyes. The children, followed closely by Mum, wander through the falling light looking for the source of the scary voice. There are all sorts of things that lead them astray but in the end they find it . . . It's a mother owl with her babies sitting high up in the tree.
作者簡介:Edel (rhymes with 'medal') is a freelance writer, compiler and journalist. She has been writing full time since 1979 for both adults and children. She has had approximately 90 children's books published, including fiction, non-fiction and picture books. Edel lives with her husband Geoff in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne. They enjoy visits to art galleries, seeing films and plays and taking trips to the country. She loves owls and is terrified of spiders! Carl Pearce is a recent art college graduate. He lives in north Wales and enjoys watching films, reading books and long walks on the beach with his camera. Growing up, Carl could not decide whether to be a policeman, fireman or Ghostbuster. In the end he graduated from the North Wales School of Art and Design in 2004 as an illustrator.
