內(nèi)容簡介: 《仲夏夜之夢（英文版）》是莎劇中常被搬演也是受歡迎的喜劇，亦為莎翁眾多劇本中少數(shù)極具原創(chuàng)性的劇本。本出戲充滿希望和歡娛氣氛，劇中的夏夜森林、精靈魔法等等，都特別適于劇場表現(xiàn)。而這部戲的演出史，幾乎可說是精靈的造型史。故事的主人公因一條荒謬苛律逃往森林，卻在森林里因精靈的介入。而使愛情對象混淆。本故事發(fā)生在仲夏夜晚，在西方正有所謂仲夏瘋（midsummer madness）和月暈（moonstruck）之文化，意喻著黎明之時才能恢復(fù)秩序。此劇的故事發(fā)生于城市與森林、清醒與睡眠、真實與夢幻之間，架構(gòu)極為對稱。森林、睡眠或夢幻都象征著潛意識，故近幾十年來，尤受不少心理分析大師的青睞。另外，又因內(nèi)容提及父親逼婚、仙王操縱愛情等，因此也有人引用女性主義來探討此劇。
